Beautiful photos, Stephen. You live in quite a historic part of the world. I am struck by the dates on some of the plaques.... our U.S. history is only a bit over 200 years old.... yours is 2000 years old.
Be safe and have fun. |

Nice report as usual. And some very scenic country.
I know how those booksellers feel. I have quite a few old books that I can't get rid of. Some time ago I had to institute a policy of not buying books. No more space to put them, and no way to get rid of the old ones. Unless I dump them in the trash can, which I don't want to do. dc |

Thank you for the report. It is always a treat to be able to step beyond the world we find ourselves most comfortably situated, if even vicariously. Nicely done!

Another fantastic report by you, Stephen!
Something fun to do on a rainy day! The countryside is so lush and green. The twisty roads look like so much fun! If a car breaks down along the way, how do you pull over with all those hedge rows growing right up to the roadside? Do people just stop in the middle of the road? I'm curious because I have noticed there does not seem to be break down lanes or shoulders on many of the roads there.
