Re: I lost my cat pal this morning...

Sorry to hear about your loss Donna. We do love our pets and they really are part of the family. Maybe time to get a new kitten to terrorize the remaining one?

Sorry for your loss Donna. I have two at home and don't know what I'd do without them.

If you are up to it, check out this video I just put together last night for the local SPCA I volunteer for. Hopefully it will bring a smile to your face.

Take care.

So sorry, D, to hear about the passing of your sweet Milo. It's always hard to lose a treasured pet and friend...they are so much a part of our lives.

That's a beautiful video, Michael. I hope it'll make D feel a bit better when she's up to looking at it!

Re: I lost my cat pal this morning...

So sorry, Donna. Orange Cats are the BEST!!

We're likely both in the same place right now. We just lost our 18 y/o Hootie Cat yesterday as well. She was a little scrappy near the end but the sweetest girl you could ask for. She was purring right up to the very end. We'll miss her but maybe Milo has made a new connection.

Here's our Hootie...

Re: I lost my cat pal this morning...

Hello Donna, sorry about the loss of your pet. When they come into our life we understand that they will leave one day but it sure doesn't make it any easier. Our last cat lived for nearly 18 years she was a large part of our kids life while they grew up. She was like a living doll for my daughter allowing herself to get dressed in our daughters doll clothes. We still smile when something reminds us of our little furry lost part of the family. I've always found the best way to release the pain is to bring another member into the family....Rick

Re: I lost my cat pal this morning...

For those that don't know, I babysat Milo & Venus a while back. I AM NOT A CAT PERSON.

These 2 cats were so cool tho! They were like dogs, hence the little pups.

I had to give Milo his shots etc and was happy to do it. Donna & Gary are dear friends and I'm so sorry for the loss of Milo.

I lost my dog Panda after 16 yrs Yes, it is tuff. They are our kids!!!

Re: I lost my cat pal this morning...

RIP Milo.

Donna, sorry for your loss. It's tough. we had to have a dog put down after a short time of owning her, but an even longer time of knowing her (adopted from a neighbor) ~ she instantly became part of the family & was like she always lived with us.

looking back, it probably would have made the loss much easier if we would have gotten a replacement. That was b4 we moved into our house in 1999 & it;s still tough to talk about her without choking up a bit.
