Did a little ride over the weekend - thought I'd just post a couple pics, never enough time to post them all.

I actually shot mostly gobs of photos of the roads, but thought I'd post some of the riders who joined me in my frolicking good time riding around San Luis Obispo County in central coastal Caifornia!

Dusty (Vonhooha) & Elena on the FJR... This is Parkhill Rd, the northern leg of what is commonly called the Pozo Loop.

My thought on this segment was, "You know you're on the right road when there's grass growing up from the cracks in the road!"

Erik (1911) on the spankin' new ZZR who desperately tried to keep it under the 4000 rpm limit per the break-in peroid of his new bike.

Some of the group... (Btw, you get a photo like this by standing a long way off, zooming the camera lens to like 4 or 5x (digital) and putting the camera at the level of the headlights- great results!!)

The strangest thing about this little bike is Drew dragging his knee through corners like this.

On Bitterwater Rd, it was incredibly green. For those not familiar with California seasons, this will soon be all dry grass, but for now it has such a brilliance, it glows with wildflowers and the rolling hills that stretch on and on.
