Im new to this Forum and trip reports so this might be a bit useless,

This is from my trip last year with the lads , coulndt do one this year due to getting married , having a stag doo and a honeymoon

Day 1 : Get up at 6 and head down to the ferry port , have a full english breakfast on the boat and then blast our way through boring North France at speed as we had to be in Chimay for lunch to say hello to a Friend who was competing in a classic road race on his old Ducati http://www.ihro.org.uk/2009/11/chimay2010/, after that we headed on down to our first nights accomodation in Luxembourg for a couple of beers , get invited into a localls party in a bar and have a great time ( word of warning , do not mix sake grappa and local beer , you will end up led in your hotel bath being sick and then pass out )

Day 2 : , Get up late with a bit of a hang over and head off to the B500 Black Forest road http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motor...den&code=5b710 and then on to our accomdation in Höchenschwand in South Germany which turned out to be a run by 2 very friendly gentlemen ( no drinking tonight )

Day 3 : big day today so up and at them nice and early, head off towards Zurich and then onto Davos in Switzerland , stopping to look at amazing scenery and chatting to a English guy who is touring in this weird bike.

Love the stories from across the pond, spent many years in Germany and I crossed over, or should I say crossed under on the chunnel a few times.

On arrival a Davos it soon becomes clear that there is no paved road up to our hotel so a little off roading up some dirt tracks, we later discover that illegal to ride on the tracks and could have recived a 500 euro fine if we had been caught by the Police ( if there is ever any up there ), so we check in beat a hasty reteat back down to the bottom of the mountain and then get the free tram back upto the top for a meal and a well deserved beer in a strange barin the hotle that is bathed in red light

Day 4 : No luggage today because we are staying at the same place in Davos so we are off to find the Fluelapass and the Stelvio pass

after a long day a little cool off in a lake on the way back to our hotel was superb, steve had to move his bike half way through the swim due to almost getting blown over by a passing truck

Day 5 : Off to Turin via the San Bernadino pass today and its going to be getting hot as we decend from the mountains, jumped on the ferry acroos lake maggiore which gave us a nice break whilst still moving

We stopped off also to see the Dam that James Bond jumped off in the begining of Goldeneye and watch people bunjee off it
