Re: Europe 2010

Day 6 : We leave for Monaco today to have a quick ride around the circuit before heading over to Nice to stick the bikes on the train back to Paris and we then follow on a different train

Re: Europe 2010

the bikes secured on the train now its time to kick back for a couple of hours , it only cost £100 each to get the bikes and us back from Nice to Paris which was a bargain.

We woke up the next morning and blasted the 500 ish miles home only stopping for fuel and food , we got a small break on the eurotunnel and then back on it ..
I cant wait for next years trip

Re: Europe 2010

Very nicely done Neil.

I'm intrigued by the yellow two-wheeled bullet type bike...?

Re: Europe 2010

Looks like you guys had an awesome time. I, like Stephen, can't help but wonder about this vehicle. Very interesting looking.

You certainly saw some beautiful country and rode some amazing roads. Excellent RR guys, one I'd like to clone in the future! Love the photo of the bikes on the train. It's all intriguing.

cheers!

Re: Europe 2010

Neil, a good report. Hope to see more from you in future.

I've done the Nice to Paris train trip a few times but not since about 2004.

One question... did the bikes and the humans travel together? I read that the vehicles go separately and you meet up in Paris?

Oh yes, did you get a name for the yellow blob on wheels? It looks like one I saw in Switzerland a few years back called a Peraves Ecomobile with a BMW K series engine.... http://eco.peraves.ch/peravese.htm
