Day ride to the Canyon
Fall was in the air. We finally managed to get back on the motorcycle this past weekend for a day ride to the South Rim of the Canyon. A great day… lunch, NO crowds as luck would have it….. Abinaz and his wife were free for the day to joint us….. enjoy the photos

Nice. Last time I was at the canyon was 30 years ago. Too bad I didn't have enough time to enjoy it thoroughly.

Great pictures Ken!! I've never seen that Indian dancer there. Pretty cool!!
I love the Canyon but haven't been in a LONG time. (to the south rim, just the north). I think it's time we take a ride down that way!

Nice pictures.
I did my first SaddleSore two weekends ago, and as I rode up I-17 from the Phoenix area, the smell of pine, along with the cool temps has really made me want to ride back up that way before the end of the month. Might not get to the GC, but even to Prescott area would be great in late October. Since it's so isolated, the north rim is soooo much nicer than the south rim. I've lived here in AZ 35 years, and have been there once for just a short time as my wife and I rode back from Utah and points further north a couple of years ago. In fact, due to fires close to US-89, that was the same day we whistle-stop toured both the north and south rims.
