Another Fall Color Thread...Yosemite

I enjoyed viewing all the threads about the fall colors in the Sierras. But, I didn't see anyone post any photos of fall colors in Yosemite Park. I thought I would create one.

I arrived at the valley floor during sunrise. I stopped to get take this photo.

I've been to Tenaya Lake many times... never have I seen it this beautiful... stunning photo, Jim!!

I wanted to ride Yosemite this weekend. But, the local forecast was for snow as low as 3500 feet on Thursday. The day was gorgeous.
I think the clouds I managed to get in my photos are clouds from the approaching storm.

Thanks Tyler. In my search for color, I decided to bring my DSLR instead of my point and shoot camera. Shooting in RAW just captures so much more detail.

The point and shoot has its benefits for a quick, on-the-fly shot with good turnout but, yeah... that DSLR can get something way different!
