One more question, though. What time are ya'll planning on KSU on Saturday morning? I'm close enough to Burney (120 miles) I don't think I need to rent a room at the motel. I can just meet ya'll for or after breakfast and hit the roads.

Ray, I've only road with four or five other members from this forum. However, I've been to more than a few of these GTG (get togethers) like this with a number of other riders and my observation is that the day rides are only half the fun. The other half the fun is the parking lot conventions (my term for the impromtu groups of riders socializing and just hanging outside the rooms, in the parking lots and around the bikes, etc.)!

We sure wouldn't want you to miss out on anything.

Very well put JC.

Bandit; maybe you only need a Saturday night room if you left home early in the morning.
I figure Breakfast around 7:30 and then RIDE!

Re: Oregonian & Californian Pashnits Ride 2012

Ken, I get off Thursday afternoon, and have the following week off (it is the only way I can get the 4th of July off to march in my little town's parade...oh, bummer!)

Steve, I am riding that route for GR, so I want to save it for then. I was thinking that we might take 3 down to 36 and head west...or head east over to K-Falls from Ashland on a couple roads I've never ridden (Dead Indian Memorial Rd.) for one, with a stop at Tule Lake. Endless possibilities.

Ken as of now I am going to bring the tent trailer along do the group ride then the wife and I are going to head on into Oregon and try to find some of those great roads that you all post up. Of course that will all depend on work. Being a 1-man band if a job comes along I have no choice but to work rather than play. If you are going to take the senic ride back then maybe the wife and I can tag along.

The ride is still a ways off, but I can either guide you to a few places or circle some places for you on the map. If you give me a few ideas on what you want to see and a time limit, I can plot a few places for you Ken.
Later, KEN
