It was sooooooo hot coming up the central valley.

My saddle bags are packed. I hope I can sleep tonight. Might be too excited! I wish it was 9am instead of 9pm already!!!

We have arrived in Stockton! Hot is not enough of a word to describe the trip! When we left town the air temp was 111. At 5pm we stopped to wet the vests again, it was 113! I was sizzling! Thank goodness I have packed a few refreshing drinks!

I have everything ready to load onto my bike. Cooling vest in the fridge. Extra water bottles in the freezer & 2 fuel canisters fueled up just in case.

Alarm set for 6 am!! Gonna tray to wash my bike before we go.

Wahooty!!! The fun is only hours away!!!
