I'm going to be a last minute if job will allow.

I'm staying with friends, so the lodging for me is covered. Remember, I actually graduated from high school there...omg, you know a year or two ago...

Lorett has resies & is saving a spot for me at this point. Not sure where she made resies. I think she got in early enough to be at the host hotel. Lots of lodging nearby.

I sure hope I can get there. It's in our back yard so to speak!

Yee Haa!!! Ladies!

Don't let lodging issues be the reason that anyone not attend! I am sure that if we get the word out if someone needs a roomie that we can get it handled!

Just let it be known on this thread!!!

Walt and I will be there - actually, we'll be doing a group ride from SoCal through the western Sierras. If anyone is interested, please check it out here.

Also, we have rented the whole Benton Hot Springs for Wednesday night, July 25, so I invite any ladies (and their gents, if applicable) to join us for the night. Price will be dependent on the number of participants. Dinner is being negotiated, and breakfast will be included. Great hot springs water and it's just a really cool place! It's only a few hours from Carson City, so we can make it there early in the day and get settled.

I don't know about you, but I'm excited!!!!

Yeeeeeeeeeee Haw!!! I'm excited about this too!! I tried to get a room about a month ago and they are LONG GONE!!
Need a roomie as I cannot afford to pay for a room someplace else on my own (especially after spending all my $$ on the Girly Ride!! )

Filled out the form for ya, Nancy! I'll be all moved in back in So Cal probably by June so will be coming from Canyon Country or thereabouts!!

I'm soooo looking forward to this!!

Suzi, I see your sign-up! Great! I will email you the info and some other ladies to contact for roomies on the trip.

I have a couple of ladies in the wings that will need roomies in Carson City, so we will get something going! Rooms are available all around town, you don't have to stay at the host hotel. I suggest making a rez in Carson City and you'll be the one to have the say-so on who you room with!! Most have a good cancellation policy, so you can always book now and cancel later if something better comes up!

Here's the latest press release from the AMA. It is just a PRELIMINARY listing of speakers for the conference. More to be announced next week.

And... a preliminary schedule is posted here.

Although it is not listed, it is hotly rumored that Streetmasters will be doing a couple of 1/2-day classes at the Conference.... Stay tuned for more!!!!

(BTW, Walt and I did a little pre-ride of some of our route and tried out one of the places we are staying this last weekend. Had a great time, and we are so looking forward to the ride to the Conference this July!!!!)
