California Coast in Springtime..

Rode through the California central coast this past weekend with some friends. It was an RTE (Ride to Eat) event and also an overnight gathering. I didn't partake in the overnight gathering as I had made other plans, further south along the coast.

Linked below is the story in pictures and a few words, if you are so inclined as to give it a read.

California Coast in Springtime..

Cheers!

Sam

Wow! Beautiful pics and great ride report Sam. You covered some serious ground! Torrey Pines is my favorite place to hike - I hit it once or twice a month. Love the ice plant pics especially - so glad you took the time to stop so we could enjoy your pics.

Totally enjoyed reading your blog and seeing the pics! I'm hoping the colors stay that way this weekend. Would love to capture them myself.

Hi Jaymie!

I love your photographic work, so it would be great to see what you saw through your camera this weekend! Big Sur in my eyes is one of the prettiest places in the country. Have fun!

Re: California Coast in Springtime..

Hi Jasper,

Thanks for your compliments! I love Big Sur also, esp early in the year without the RVs.

I usually (when I do) ride with a few FJR's and a few other bikes, but we are mostly all based out of Sacramento here or nearby. Mostly I ride solo.

You might want to check the Group Rides and Upcoming Events section of the pashnit forum to see what group rides maybe planned for your area and go out and say hello.

Ride safe and often!
