It's been snowing up in the Sierra - Yosemite's Half Dome

I like to check out the web cams of different spots around the country and the world to see what's going on, but one of my favorites is the one up at Yosemite (they have two different ones, each of which you can zoom into by clicking over the particular cam you want).

According to the news last night this is the most snow in the Sierra since 1915, and the season is young.

Just to see how the snow has been accumulating at the same spot looking out towards Half Dome. Note the snow in relation to the several tree tops in the foreground:

Heck - Since it is primitive country I thought thought it could be a Snow Monster:

But, I don't think this qualifies........

I love Yosemite. I've been on just about every hiking trail in the park. I even had a snow-ball fight with some friends on top of half dome in July about 10 years ago. Nice pics!
