Greetings from Seattle

Just checking in and thought I'd say hello to my riding buddies. Had an exhilarating trip up the CA and OR coast to Portland and finally made it to Seattle. The magic numbers are: 80 - 20 - 1 - 101 - 6 - 5. Sunshine all the way! Took the week off and decided to put some more miles on the bike. Pictures to follow upon my return. If I'll return, that is: I kinda feel like doing this for a while ... Always wanted to go to Alaska after all ...

Markus, great to hear the weather gods were shining on you up the coast. You were very forunate! Excellent timing for a trip to Oregon!

Thanks for the sneak previews of photos. Great shots! Enjoy your stay and we'll look forward to a full report on your return.

Nice photos. love the one looking through the tunnel and the one with the farm house where the fog is clearing, in fact I'd pick either one for a fall calender photo.
From Olympia, welcome to the neighborhood

Nice pics Markus, but wrong time of year to go to Alaska unless you travel via South America...even Beemer heated grips aren't much good at 40 below...

Re: Greetings from Seattle

Great Pics! The Pacific Northwest is just beautiful. I don´t know about the weather, but if its still good up there, go for highway 20 through North Cascades Natl. Park to Grand Coulee. That´s a nice route.
Have fun and drive carefully!

John is right, head south to Alaska. Should satisfy your need to ride there!
