Snow isn't just for skiing
After a great street ride on Saturday it was time to go check out the snow on Sunday. My brother and I headed up to Herring Creek to go ride in soe snow. Let me tell you riding in the snow is awesome. Anyways here's a few pics of the ride.

Mole...
I am puzzled here...are those motorcycles with training outriggers on one side (and, if so, which side) or two motorcycles welded together, side by side? Inquiring minds want to know Steve |

Re: Snow isn't just for skiing
Found out this weekend that the TW 200 does ok in the snow too! Didn't do anything too deep, but I think it might have been able to handle it with those big wheels!

Re: Snow isn't just for skiing
Joel, Kimber - that's awesome! Quads can be really fun too, to ride one, I gotta go over to my brother's and steal my 10 yr old niece's.
Btw Joel- do you guys ever run spikes in the tires for the snow? We useta have a Honda Odessay (many years ago), and we had two sets of tires, one spiked for running down the river in the middle of winter - worked great! Lotta fun doin' cookies! |

Stampede and Boca Reservoirs freeze over up here in Truckee. I see snowmobiles out every winter. You do have to be careful though. They lose one now & then! I'll stick to tying off to the shore & ice fishing!

Now that looks like fun!! I'm not a skier (too spaztic) but I could get into the snow-quad thing for some winter playtime.

Quads in the snow... Now that really brings back memories of my teen years... I had an '85 Suzuki 230 QuadSport.... Man did I have a lot of fun back then...
