Re: How to build photo narratives to share on the forum

Thanks! As you can tell, I really needed some help! I fought with resizing my photos lastnight that I didn't get much of a chance to put the story in!

My problem is that by the time I resize to fit the 800 pixel limit, my shot ends up looking really grainy? Some of the picts I've seen on this site look so nice, they must have a file size 30meg!

Well, I'll keep working on it and see what happens!

Thanks for the info

Excellent! I was always wondering how the text was placed between the pics.

Re: How to build photo narratives to share on the forum

For those of us using Macs, you might consider using FileChute to upload your pics to wherever they're being stored. You just drag the pic to the FileChute window, and while it uploads it, it gives you the URL to paste into your post. Drag, copy, paste. Almost too easy.

It is marketed as a tool to send large files without clogging up the email system, but making it so easy to use pics in posts would be worth the $18.

Wow! Thanks for the tutorial. Pashnit should have a section for How To's if they don't already. Very helpful to the novice.

Thanks Again.

Re: How to build photo narratives to share on the forum

Am I limited to posting just five pictures per post? If not, how do I post more that five pictures with narratives in one large post.

Thanks for the great information.

Simply reply to your own post as many times as necessary and add five more each time. Most people put a short 'Don't post yet as I'm still adding text and photos - please wait until this message disappears' (or something similar) on the first post and delete it when finished.

Hope this helps

Stephen
