Why not remember my August trip to Colorado?

I've been riding a lot in all this rain, but no pics to share lately...here's one from our August trip to Colorado :-)

A mountain Goat on Mount Evans at about 14,000 feet.

Sherri was able to quietly move in for a pic with the Goat

Great shot of the goat! Mt Evans- Highest paved road? I missed that one last time I was in the Rockies- still under snow in mid-May.

Andrew- what was the link to your trip with more pics?

I've always been glad that Sherri looks just like Sherri I never thought to compare her with anyone before...but I suppose I see why you might say that. I'll ask her if she thinks Courtney is cute before I tell her what you said

It sure is covered in snow in mid May. In fact, a few years ago, I took Sherri up there and she saw very little. We were in the clouds and snow was falling hard in mid July!

It's a truly awesome place, but when the lightning starts, find shelter. Being above timberline on a bike can be deadly (and often is up there).

Great ride to top of MT. Evans. I remember the view and the cold. But was not, fortunate enough, to see a mountain goat.
