Introducing the Pashnit Picture Contest...

Okay, let's try something new. As many of you know, over the last few years the Pashnit site has developed into hundreds of webpages containing thousands of pictures I've taken over the years.

But I've always loved using shots from other riders, and especially the lead-in shot for the entire site. So here's what we'll do...

If you'd like to lay claim to the lead-in photo for the entire site (I rotate them every 1-2 weeks)- ante up and post your shot here. The requirements are it'll be cropped to a 315w x 400h portrait size so keep that in mind. It must contain a motorcycle & road or just road & scenery or just motorcycle. No 'posing' people in the shot, and it must be magazine quality. Remember to label where the pic was shot / what road, etc.

It also must make the heart go pitter patter, just looking at it. Here are some examples of what I'm looking for...

I know this has my buddies in it, but I still love this shot!

It's the back side of 120 into Yosemite through Tioga pass. We made it just before they closed it last year.
