Re: Some photos from my trips in England 2005

Dale,

I have had several people comment that I have a good eye for a picture , but to be honest I don't think about that when I'm taking them [ none of my shots are altered in any way ] - I just like to see nice scenery and buildings .

I particularly like to get out on the bike early in the morning before folk are up and the roads are much quieter .............. very rewarding as you don't have traffic [ except wildlife ] to worry about .

Safe riding

Steve

Steve,

Thanks for the photos. What beautiful scenery, and what a beautiful bike. I love the looks of those RTs.

To echo comments already made, you seem to have a natural eye for composition and lighting. Having a good camera doesn't hurt either.

I'm going to use a couple of your photos for desktop backgrounds to remind me why I ride and that there is always somewhere new for me to visit and see.

Since I got the new bike , I have wanted to ride even more than before , because I enjoy the riding experience more than any other bike I have previously owned [ Fazer 600 - 1150 GS - 1100RT - HD Softail Heritage Classic ] , and although others think me mad [ SWMBO included ] I would take off at 4.00am if it meant I could be out on the road !!
I am lucky that my wife is so understanding , and I always offer to bring her along , or one of the kids for that matter .
Travel broadens the mind .......... god help me if I ever get the chance to ride in the States !!

Re: Some photos from my trips in England 2005

Hey Steve, what town are you in? Last summer I had my first experience driving in the UK, driving all around SW England, then back up to London, then down to Brighton, then back to Oxfordshire. It was killing me that I was not on a moto. Because Sue's family lives there we are considering keeping a bike over there so that we can ride when we visit. This summer, however, it's France for us!

Cheers,

Kurt

Those pictures are incredible. Each one could be a great desktop wallpaper. I am impressed. I guess some people just have a natural talent for photos. I am not one of them.

I really loved this one:

Ron,
That one was actually taken by my wife , sitting on the back holding the camera over my shoulder ............... it gives a real sense of speed .
