DS Ride through Clear Creek 1/22/06

Hi Gang,

Just an FYI...... There is a thread in the group rides section that is turnign into a DS run through Clear Creek this Sunday.

I know its a long ways, but are any of the "Chico Guys" interested in coming down for a ride? This will be a mostly paved day, but if you have never been to Clear Creek, it is worth taking a peek.

For those not familiar with Clear Creek, HERE is a nice (and very amusing, and long) write up by Rick. This is on SBR and the ride was last weekend. No... I didn't make that ride.

HERE's some photo's from that ride.

Now, before anyone gets all worried about their ability to making it thru... I'm pretty sure the ride Gail is planning WILL NOT take off on the trails described (and photo'ed) on the above threads.

To show it's not as "difficult" as Rick describes, I've been thru there on my Vstrom.

I would like to see Clear Creek, but I have to work early Monday morning.
Now if it was a three day weekend...

Hey Paul,

It Coooooooooould be a three day weekend if you were to get sick Monday morning.

My house is open to everyone on Monday night if needed.

I am sure we will all get to do a ride together soon. I can't wait for the snow to melt in the High Lakes. I never was much of a Winter time guy.
