Crash bars

Well, I took off to Reno today to bring my Triumph Tiger back home after it received its 12K service. While it was there I asked them to install some crash bars so that the next time I drop this bike in the mud and snow I won't scratch up my gas tank. I still don't plan on extreme off road riding, but at least I can feel a little more comfortable off the pavement knowing I have a little protection for the bike. I can also hang some lights and highway pegs on them for LD touring. The bars are made by Touratech?? or something that sounds like that.

What highway did you travel? How were the conditions?

Last year I rode to Quincy for breakfast and on to Lake Tahoe on 89.
Superbowl Sunday is very quiet on the roads!

Hope the bars work well, I like the idea of highway pegs on them.
Good for leverage if you do fall in mud or dirt.
