Lane Sharing Survey

The thread on lane sharing got me thinking and since I have no idea what other states it is legal in, I thought I would ask a few questions.

1. What States allow "Lane Sharing"?

2. If you live in a State that does, do you lane share?

3. If you answered "Yes" to Question 2, how long have you "practiced" lane sharing?

4. How many years have you ridden motorcycles?

5. How many mirrors of trucks and cars have you taken out?

My answers to these questions:

1.?
2. Yes
3. 35 years
4. 35 years
5. Zero while Lane Sharing.

By accident of course.

I know of one cager to loose a mirror in the years I've been riding (no it wasn't by me). I think it is real interesting how many bikes are busting through traffic and as close as we come to cars/truck mirrors, yet I haven't heard of many of them being taken off.

And, up until I bought my ST, I never even scraped a mirror. Because the mirrors on the ST are so much lower then my V65 Sabre fairing mirriors, the first time I rode it to work, I scraped a mirror...just barely..
