Jim - on a 749? http://www.saeng.com maybe? Lotsa applications, but I'd imagine you'd want something really small. (?)

Oh, and you can get lost in here: http://www.webbikeworld.com/lights/
Ya know when I did this on my ole Venture, was pretty broke back then, so just went to local auto parts store and paid $20 for a generic set of running lights. Actually worked great for the 50K I put on that bike. Some lil bullet lights maybe? |

Tim, The SAENG site is just what I was looking for, the night-cutters they have seem to be quality stuff. They have some other cool items also, like the bungees.
I want to do the CAL24, thats why I need the extra lites. I would'nt keep them on all the time, and they have some quick on off clamps. Your not kidding about getting lost in that other site

I really like Motolights. Their smallish, very bright and because they are made from spun aluminum, they look like factory equipment. They come in natural or black and you can replace the 35 watt bulbs with 55's or 75's.
Sort of pricy, but the stock look is quite nice. People not familiar with Moto-lights often ask me if my Aux lights were special ordered from BMW when I bought the bike. As another possibility, take a look at PIIA 901's. They have a nice clean look to them and are 100 watt. |

Another option is to mount some PIAA 1100X or PIAA 004X or 004XT lights in a fashion something like this.

Re: Aux. lights for a duc?
you can get a very stylish set of 12v 1w leds in a nice chrome /black case, can be seen day and night, but on a sports bike they can be positioned anywhere as they are inline/flat/ 8 in a row. I have a set on my Pan, under the indicators, they look good too.
The can be mounted inside the fairing vertically too. I really need to get some pics up...... TJ |
