Re: Sequoia/Kings Ride 2006 (Details on Page 1)
Sorry for the late "check-in".
Got home last night around 7:45 ish. Tired, Hot, Sweaty, Dirty... and happy as could be. Shower, Snack then bed. Thanks so much for the excellant catering Ian & Becca. I have a few pics to go thru but here are some teasers for now. Hwy 180 down there heading towards Boyden Caverns & roads end. From down on the road seen in previous pic... And here's a couple from my Thursday "sidetrack" into Yosemite, before going to Don & Cyndi's for dinner and a place to spend the night. Thanks Don & Cyndi! Halfdome Another from same place, different direction.

Sopiago is coming up and that one rocks too (better, camping wise, actually...except for the food) . SKIII will be added to my list of must do Pashnit events. So then, Spring, Summer, and Fall gatherings...life is good. |

Looks like a good time was had. I may have to trek out to the fall gathering. Don't think I've heard of a bad time yet!!
Cheers!!!

Re: Sequoia/Kings Ride 2006 (Details on Page 1)
Thanks, Larry. We really had a good time riding, though I didn't really get to talk to everyone enough. I'm sort of slow when it comes to socializing.
It was a big thrill charging off the corners to try and keep up with you sporty-bike types. That the Nomad does well, but entering the corners there was some rough stuff that kept me slowing a lot to keep the front tire planted. A ride like that really points out the need for better fork springs, and a fork oil change too. With 23,000 miles on it, mine is sincerely worn out. Anyhow, I posted my photos up this AM, but then suffered a server glitch of some kind & will now have to do it all again. I'm glad you took photos of people, because all I got was big rocks & multicolored bikes, & one small lake.
