From the Vault - Million Dollary Highway, CO
I am getting psyched for the upcoming long rides Sherri and I are planning. Here are some photos from her camera as we rode the Million Dollar Highway.
These pictures are from our August, 2005 ride to Colorado from Orangevale (California). I was just going through my photos and wanted to post these. Some you may have seen before. They call much of this road the Million Dollar Highway as it was constructed using mining tailings, which were found later to still have quite a bit of gold in them! The road is worth it! This Road goes from Montrose to Durango. Ride it when you can and you WILL NOT be sorry! |
