Wow that sounds like a dream ride! John you are very very good at route planning
 . I was up and down the lower Amador roads yesterday on "work" and experienced Ione-Sutter Creek's pitiful state.Boats1 if you were on your side-hack yesterday I passed you at the Ford dealership in Martell  .

Yes, Manager. That was me. I had to split off from the other ride early to get home and actually do some work. When I got home there wasn't anything pressing, so, what the heck. They are a bunch of fun guys. And good riders as well. Looking forward to a great riding season.

Yesterday's ride was great. First time I've had the liner out of my jacket in a long time. The potholes and debris definitely kept it interesting in a few spots. Scenery was gorgeous. A great bunch of guys to ride with. Had a good burger at Blondie's. Everyone had a safe ride. What else could you ask for?

We sure did have fun and the weather was as ordered...
 It was great to meet Gary (morecoffee) and I can testify that he fits right into the pashnit mould of riders and bikes. Clint( Boats1) and the Aprilia made a nice pair, and Hoppy is always a good rider to have along. When I got to Plymouth I was pleasantly surprised to see Jim (klutschengrabber) and so we were Five! The roads are still a bit comprimised in places but we kept a good pace when possible and dealt with it when it got dirty/goaty... More of a riding day than for pics but here is what I got... Meet Gary, a fairly new pashnite Clint and his Aprilia Happy Bikes parked in Volcano Parked at Poole Station Rd. and Hwy 4 Green grass and Blu sky...at last! Which way do we go now? Hwy 49 near Columbia a brief rest near the old Mt. Aukum Rd. Bridge over the South Fork of the Cosumnes River Gas prices were going up as we watched... |

I tried editing it a number of times and even eliminated one of the other pics to see if it would show. No dice. I went in today and instead of using a URL to post it I used the "download from your computer" feature and it shows fine now. So it's there now if anyone wants to go back and look. Or at least it was there when I looked. Hoppy |
