May '06 GROUP BUY: Geza Pro-Stretch Bike Cover, anyone interested?

Was chatting with the owner of Geza Covers, Tom, the other day, and he asked if the Pashnit Forum Members would like to do a group buy on a Geza Cover for their bikes. Tom mentioned this is a popular thing to do on forums, so we mine as well try it here if folks like this will give us a break.

If we can get 25 people, the cost for the basic cover would only be $114 tyd (to your door). Includes free shipping, free bag (to carry the cover in), & free mirror covers. Basically saves you $45 off the Geza website price.

If you are not familiar with Geza Pro-Stretch Covers, I can remember seeing these years ago at the races, and have always wanted one. While yes, you can buy any cover for your bike, and I used to have just that, my cover also wore off all the clear coat from putting it on and off my ZX-11D back when I stored the bike outside.

Geza Pro-Stretch Covers use a stretchy lycra material instead. They are really compact when put into the included pressure sack, mine even fits in my rear hump, so I can take it anywhere. The cover comes in handy especially when traveling- at the end of the day, you can cover the bike, and keep from prying eyes. So from a security standpoint, covers are always highly reccomended. There's even a little flap on the back that will cover your license plate.

Even works good if you're just headed out someplace and while you're there, don't want to carry all your gear around. Just put on the cover, and shove all your stuff up in there, or your buddies stuff too! This is what I see most often at moto-events and races, etc. Some pics...

At Hearst Castle stowing all our gear, jackets, two helmets, saddlebags. Works great.

Compacts down so small, it fits in the rear hump of the busa

They're also rain resistant too as seen here. Not water proof, the cover still breathes, but the rain/water will bead on the cover, and in the morning, I just snap the cover like a rubber band, and the beaded water just falls right off.

Lot of folks tow their bikes and these are great for towing too. No flappy flappy cover, the stretchy material keeps the bike covered and free from rocks and dust. I use mine in the garage too when I'm not riding, just cover the bike, and keeps it free of dust and dirt floating around. Ready to ride, pull the cover off, and the bike is still nice and shiny from when I washed it.

Just post here you'd like one, or pm me if you want to keep it hush-hush, and if we can get 25, we'll place the order, and they come directly to your door. Lemme check on the larger covers like for Goldings or BMW LT's.

Pashnit Forum members Cost $114 tyd
for basic cover (save $45 per cover)
Tom is supposed to get back to me on the larger size, and FJR has a separate cover b/c of shape of bike. I'd imagine the price difference for the larger cover is small.

Anyone interested in the Group Buy?

+1. Wow...don't know how I missed this. I've been eyeing these covers for a while. Maybe I can justify it as a Father's Day gift to myself.

I missed it too, do we know the price for an FJR cover? I see an example of one in the photos...

Will they say "PASHNIT" on the side?

I will take one even if they do not.

That'd be cool if they had Pashnit printed on them.

Re: GROUP BUY: Geza Pro-Stretch Bike Cover, anyone interested?

Hi guys, Tom,the owner, and I talked about that, but the only problem is b/c the cover is a stretchy material, if it were screen printed, the ink would have to stretch too (or however that works). I'm sure there is a way, but I'd have to ask again. The Geza Emblem is a patch they sew on the front. Other than that, no flair, no fluff, no ricky racer graphics, just good cover. It's a amazing how versitle the cover is, if you notice from the pics, there's even one on a trike.

John - I'll find out about the FJR. B/C of the shape of the bike, Geza Covers designed a separate cover just for that bike. I'd imagine it'd be just a couple bucks more than their basic cover for the $114 tyd group buy price.
