Stockon's closest ride...

Thought I'd post some picks of my bread and butter, Hwy 26 to J14 to Hwy 4 back to Stockton. It's not exactly Hwy 1, but it's only 15 minutes from UOP (which allows for some quick rides before work!) and you can't beat that with a stick.

A little lean here, a little lean there...

Looks like this on both sides of the road. So much open nowhere, just tree-less terrain forever...

Lunch.

My good luck charm...

Re: Stockon's closest ride...

Double the time you are out ... head up 26 to 12 to 49 then back down 4. A whole lotta good road and that ride would only be about 45 minutes longer for your quick fix.

If you got an extra 20 minutes on top of that, instead of 12 to 49, take 26 to Mokelumne Hill then down 49 to 4. And don't forget to take a look at Mountain Ranch road when you are up that way.

Man, you guys are gonna MAKE me get another sport bike, aren't you?

I don't think I've ever been up there, but it always looks good on your videos! Right now I just want to weather to stay clear so I can ride over spring break!
