Glen Heggstad will be at Brown Motor Works May 20th to talk about his world wide trip
Saw your threads and gained interest. I love to ride all day and all night.
Glen Heggstad is this guy who just spent 2 years driving around the world. He will be at Brown Motor Works on the 20th to talk about his trip and he is having a drawing for his bike. Here is the info I received. Set aside 5:00pm on Saturday, May 20th to come to Brown Motor Works to see Glen Heggstad's slide show of his world travels on a 2005 F650 Dakar. Attendance is free and there will be food. Please let us know that you are coming and how many people you are bringing. www.brownbmw.com Also starting this month, we'll be taking donations of $5.00 per ticket for Glen's Dakar. That's right you could be the proud owner of this world trekker. The drawing will be at the Long Beach IMS show in December, and all proceeds will go to Amnesty International. Ohhh... that'd be cool to meet Glen.
Maybe he would like to come up HERE instead? Lotsa bikers will be there. I'm sure he would get a good audience.
