Hwy 88, Memorial Day Weekend

Just thought we would post some pictures from this weekend even though we are still traveling.

We left Thursday morning Hwy 80 to Hwy 12, Hwy 12 to Hwy 88 and Hwy 88 over the Sierras to Sorensens in Hope Valley.

The weather was great, the Sierras were just spectactular with the blue skys and snow.

Oh, did I mention the new Motorcycle? Pictures speak for themselves.

Sorensens Resort, Hope Valley. Just built right in the Aspens, what a great place to stay, the cabins are just perfect, the people are very nice and biker friendly if you behave.

We are leaving Reno Monday morning, Hwy 431 to Tahoe, around N Shore, Hwy 50 to Placerville HD, always have to make the token HD Dealer stop. The Hwy 49 to Hwy 88 and home. We will add a few more Pic's after the ride home.

Bill

those are good pictures -- I see you were able to get a picture of a desperado in the jail -- sure looked like a mean character.

and what a great looking bike

see you at the next Pashnit Gathering

Sportster is gonna get ridden every day. I did 2 days last week on the new bike getting some miles on it before we left but I much prefer the Sporty for commuting. it will gather no dust!

Nice looking Screaming Eagle Ultra...
I would imagine the wife will enjoy long rides better on the Dresser.
Good idea not to sell the Sporty, they are fun. I had to get rid of mine to get an Ultra but I was able to keep my Low Rider. Just remember as I have said in the past, your favorite MC is the one you just sold.

Re: Hwy 88, Memorial Day Weekend

Was up in the same area two weeks ago, got a little rain, but riding in the Sierra's is close to a religious experience.. New bike looks nice.
