I have a vintage '85 Yamaha Venture Royale with 23,000 miles on it, I call it my Road Sofa, it handles suprisingly well for an 800 lb bike.

It has a higher center of gravity which allows it to handle like a sport bike but ride like a cruiser.

It's very quick and nimble for it's age I'd give it a 7 on a scale of 1-10, it does get hot in traffic and theres always the second gear issues on these till the '86 model with the upgrade to the 1300 cc motor with the beefier trans.

I haven't got any major complaints, I love this bike and how it rides, it fits me perfectly.

I ride year round in the North East PA area, so long as the grouds dry I'll be out, unfortunately I'm scheduled for shoulder surgery in 3 days which means no bike ridin' for a while.

Anyway here's a pic of what I won't be ridin' for a while, that's my daughter and her boyfriend on the bike.
