Thumbup Highway 118, Lake Muskoka Lake region on the 67 Beemer, Ontario

Some Pictures of a ride my dad took a week ago. I couldn't make it though.
This is Highway 118 in The Lake Muskoka area of the Province of Ontario. These rockcuts are from a couple of feet to 50ft high and about 4/5 of a mile long. The road is about 50 miles.

Nice photos.

Reminds me of Rt.295 in Rhode Island, it has the same kind of rock cuts.
You can still see the drill holes in the rock that were used for explosives,
when they were blasting rock chunk by chunk creating huge rock walls.

Both roads must have been very expensive to build.

Another Ontario rider cool! Have you folks gone over to Barry's Bay area there is some good roads around there as well. I see the sand is still around the road shoulders, they sure lay it down up there.

Nice photos, I was wondering where to tour next and hmmmm Ontario sounds like a goood place to go on a bike, if only I didn't have to cross the flatlands of Saskatchewan and Manitoba first.

Nice photos. Everything is still green in your area. what kind of motorcyle is that? the fairing is throwing me off. I'm guessing a BMW.
