How about a stash of Smartire sensors? They've stopped supporting motorcycles and cars. The car sensor works in a motorcycle wheel as long as the inner wheel valley is flat or almost flat. My sensors have last three trouble free years and 50,000 miles, but they can't last forever. Vulcan Tire has some sensors, but there must be more spread around the country. A central Smartire clearing house source would be perfect.

Re: Forum People: Ideas of Group Buys? What do you want to get?
Here's some feedback. Keep those suggestions coming, and I can provide some input on viability.
Helmets - ...are tough. Last time, we got a sponsor who was willing to handle all the ordering and shipping out to each of you. I can get helmets through one of my distributors, however, my cost is not very competitive with internet retail. Last time I did homework on sourcing a $700 Shoei, I could get that helmet at just $40 over cost. And that was normal everyday retail via the internet discounters. Even got as far as to begin building a huge site into the PashnitMoto portion of the site just for Shoei, only to learn I couldn't be competitive on pricing against the huge internet discounters, and I had to order 12 of them at a time. Sorry guys, I gave up on the helmets. Yes, I can get you Shoei and AGV and Icon & so on, but it has to be shipped twice, and take about 2 weeks to your door. Brake Lines - Matt, I stock brake lines for your busa. Can send them out tomorrow if you like. On-line ordering is here: http://www.pashnit.com/product/galfer_lines.html Gen I Busa is 223 part number. As for a group buy, I'm not sure I could get permission to do that as GalferUSA has MAP pricing rules for all dealers, so the lines are the same price no matter where you buy them. Front set is $90 bucks and I'll ship them to you for free. As for sliders, those'll run anywhere from $50 to $300 and you can them from anywhere. The ones in your pic though I'm curious. Never seen ones like that that work off the frame bolts above the foot. |

Re: Forum People: Ideas of Group Buys? What do you want to get?
I tried and looked into that. The product isn't really conducive to a group buy, and BARF is already been running a special on them. Plus I think if you are an AMA member, you get discount that way too.
You can buy it on Amazon for just $108 and get free ship. List price comes up as $170. Latest new item I've been working on is this: http://www.pashnit.com/product/fptac...al_levers.html http://www.pashnit.com/product/fptac...l_fitment.html Couple other products that are coming down the line in the near future is this: -full line of Mag-Knight magnetic tank protectors -brand new Cheetah C50 just came out days ago (red light camera detector) -FP Tactical levers are updating fitments this week -new floating rear rotor just came out from Galfer for SV & GSXR -See thru gas caps for Busa & other bling bikes - got one yesterday, very cool -All new Powerlet heated items in time for winter --heated socks --heated glove liners --heated pants liners --heated base layer shirt And the very first batch to hit US shores of all new Cheetah M-27 laser jammers is sitting in customs as I write this. First batch sold out already. Also near the start of project for the Giant Loop bag. Newer type of saddlebag that looks like a loop, came out of dirtbike world, making it's way into the touring world. Just need the time to work on that. |

If someone wants testimonials and reviews, I'd suggest going over to advrider.com as there are lots of folks over there riding with GL gear.
