Canon S2 or Sony DSC H2?

I'm looking to replace my Olympus P+S 3.2 MP with a nicer 5MP+ SLR type point and shoot. I think I have reduced my options based on price and features to the two listed, but I do not know alot about cameras, so I thought you guys might be able to help me out.

Canon Powershot S2 5.0MP
Sony Cybershot DSC H2 6.0MP

They are similarly priced, so any recommendations based on photo quality, manufacturer, ease of use, etc.? Is there a huge difference between 5 and 6 MP?

Edit: I guess I should add the reason I am tired of my current camera. Any sort of cropping produces a grainy image, and when taking pictures at the races, my zoom sucked. Zoomed in all the way, and the bike were still specs. I hope the 12x zoom will be better.

Thanks.

I have the Canon S2 IS, love it! Could not say anything about the other camera though and darn little technical about the S2 for that matter (techno tard).

Thanks! I took those with my old Olympus Stylus 3.2 MP. I just held it down next to the road.
