I just bought a new Tomtom Rider motorcycle GPS for $230.00 on ebay.

He wrote back in broken english saying it was being shipped. Says he is in North Carolina, but I wonder.

Got to wait and see, good thing PayPal has protection

Yeah, I'd be slightly worried it's a hacked account or something. A quick Google search puts the average price close to 900 bucks.

If it works out, kick butt...if not, like you said...Paypal protection.

I'm really wanting one of these too! I went to the link and then searched for more and found some for $190. and up. The thing is, no pay pal link! I'm thinking these are probably scams?!!! I did find one that you have to bid on only, no buy it now price, going for $25 right now, but who knows what it will be by the end of the auction!!

I'm just real scared to buy something that is real expensive normally, and someone is selling it for so cheap!!!

Let me know how your's works out and maybe I will have to look into taking a chance!!!!

Just got a email from ebay advising me the sellers account was a rip off

They advised me to contact PayPal to place a claim.

Oh well to good to be true

Just a note I believe the max paypal will reimburse is $175.00 so be real careful when buying items that seem to good to be true. That seller had never sold anything before his feedback was all from buying, and he hadn't bought anything in along time, prime canditate for a highjacked account. One of the red flags that e-bay says to watch for is e-mails in broken english. Sorry for your loss.

Pity about that Tom Tom Rider they are good .friend has one put all europe on it but it cost £100 extra still good and waterproof to..
