Nice how that pipe catches the angle of the stairs.

Good photos. The pipes give you a nice leading line effect. Takes you right to the stairs and building.

Re: Pashnit quality photos?

Ron - these are great!! You're shooting some fantastic photos. In looking at your bike, it makes the perfect subject, great lines, good colors, and unique!

Keep using the lines of the bike to create your shot, when you do close ups, find something interesting or unique about the bike in terms of the shapes. The shot of your pipes is a perfect example, and working with the lines of the background fits the shot well.

See the triangle? Which is linear lines, then throw in the curvature of the pipes into the middle of your triangle, and you've got your shot. Your pipe shot is similar idea, which using the curvature of the pipes to set off against the shapes in the background.

Great job of getting down low (camera at level of the axle) and shoot up at the bike.

Thanks Tim, coming from you the master picture taker, I feel really proud. I'm going to play around when I get off work here in an hour or so and see what kind of photos I can get around the bay. The sun will be rising here in about 1.5 hours. Hopefully it'll be a good one. We have nice clear skies right now with no wind.

Ron

That's the mysterious avitar gremlin. He lives inside the program and seems to roam at will only coming out to play when people unsuspectingly post photos of their bikes.
