Cool techniques yer playing with there, Steve. Are you using PhotoShop to desaturate around an oval? You may want to flatten your layers, then select the area to the right of the helmet and desaturate again. You're getting a yellowish cast in a bit of the flora. Looks like your selection oval can't quite match the shape of the reflection area in the helmet.

Really beautiful shot and creative tinkering!

I don't have Photoshop [ nor do I know how to use it - I'm a technical dinosaur ] ..............this was done using Picasa 2 , which does not have the detailed options available with software like Photoshop ...............

I generally don't alter my photos at all , but have tinkered with a few which have been posted on this site ........... all of those were altered using Picasa too ............. so if I can do it , so can anyone else .
