Re: Continental Divide Ride
Many, many excellent photos. The aspens are just gorgeous. Looks like a great trip. A few misadventures, some tales to tell. The rusty, moldy tub, no thanks.

Re: Continental Divide Ride
Mike looks like a great adventure pic say it all
Since there's no write up I was wondering did your support crew follow you up on a different route and meet you, any place along the way or just drop you off at the start.

Re: Continental Divide Ride
The support group drop us off in Arizona and picked us up in Montana. We were self sufficient throught the 2800+ miles. We met a group of riders who had their own support vehicle that carried their supplies 2 days into the ride...we joked about how they weren't real riders like us.....after 7 days we figured out they were much smarter than we were.
It was a great trip, but in hindsight having full support could have made it better. See album #5, my bike stuck in the mud. It would have been nice tohave some additional help to get it out (we were at 9600 feet, not much air for someone from San DIego).

Great set of pictures! It looks like it was lots of fun. Makes me and my KLR650 want to do the same thing!
