Help Wanted - Breakfast in Mariposa
Does anyone know if there is anyplace to get breakfast in Mariposa? Some little diner-type place?

Do a mapquest route from your home to Mariposa. Then in the middle of the page just abouve the map is a window, find nearby, you can click into. You can select your starting point or ending point and in the other drop down box, select restaruants. When I did it I got 84 results for restaruants in or around Mariposa. It'll even give you driving directions to which ever one you want. If you refine the search to just coffee shops, it lists the Pony Expresso. You can pick out what you're looking for from the drop down menu on the listing of all the restaruants HTH, Ray

A couple of miles north of Ponderosa Basin, right off of 49 between Oakhurst & Mariposa, is Pop's Diner. Great breakfast & very large T-bones, a very "local" kinda cafe. Two thumbs up in my book...there several places in town, you should have no problem finding a place that looks good to you.

I've eaten at the Happy burger and the Pizza Factory. Good food. I think the Miners Inn is now closed.

+1 on Pop's It's at 49 and Hirsch Road next to the Shell station. About 5 miles before Mariposa. We eat there all the time. If you go, you gotta get the breakfast burrito
 It's about 5 minutes from my house. I'd love to join ya if breakfast will be followed by a nice brisk ride up 49. When are you going?
