Beater motorcycles
As a hobby i buy old motorcycles and recycle them on Ebay to finance my mantra to buy a different motorcycle every year or so. I really dont make much but i have blast doing it. Plus I see some of the oddest and most beat up bikes you have ever seen.
Made a web page of beater bikes that i have brought home over the last year http://www.willyougo.org/beater-bikes2.htm http://www.willyougo.org/beater-bikes.htm White Trash Luxury Touring motorcycle this was a 1984 Yamaha Venture motorcycle. It looks like it what done in a accident and then the owner decided to repair it himself. I found several beer cans in the rear trunk. Their is no ignition switch as all the wires were wired to a one off switch. Also it looks like the turn signals were from some other type of motorcycle and they were fiber glassed in. Also at the bottom of the fairing you can see a large brown patch. That is what was air intakes and now are fiber glassed in also. You can also see the antenna bolted to the fairing in the front. After all the fiberglass the fairing was painted with a paint brush. The rear trunk was fiber glassed in also. When I went to pull it out of my truck it fell off the ramps and the clutch cover came off. it had the bolts only started in their holes and brown oil spilled all over my driveway! |

Re: Beater motorcycles
It looks like the right front brake caliper might be shy a bolt or two, might wanna' check that before you take her for a ride.

Only thing missing from the last one is a German beanie helmet.
