Riding with Wings

Here's a few bike shots taken during a ride last weekend through northern Georgia with a few other Goldwingers:

Dale,

I've been really surprised at the number of great riding roads down here. It may not be California, but there is a lot of purdy countryside in these parts.

Lot's of old barns and other assorted abandoned buildings. I saw an old gas station the other day that had been shut down for a few years. The price was still posted on the sign, though the numbers were a bit sun-faded. Price was 29.9!! I will go back and get a picture of that one, its not far away.

Re: Riding with Wings

It's nice to see things where time stopped and they are still around. We seem to level everything rather fast and replace it with something new. That's what I like so much about Steves photos. Hundreds of years of history still standing like it was yesterday. When I stuble across some old barns homes etc, I always wonder and try to visualize what it was like during the time when they were new. Sometimes I think I was born a couple hundred years to late, but I did have to hold out until motorcycles were invented, particularly the in line 4.
