Very nice story. Mt Lassen is my backyard. When I looked at the pictures I actually thought I could smell the sulfur. Grass Lake, you need to see it in the spring. Here's a picture taken in May. You can see the water in the far distance. The lake is so shallow that the grass grows up through it and hides a lot of the water.
