Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang Run - Wisconsin
If you are a regular reader of Cycle World magazine (and even if not), then you are probably familiar with the Slimey Crud Run in WI. Here are photos of my ride there from Des Moines IA and of course bikes in attendance at the run. I hope you enjoy.
Iowa pic Iowa Watch out for the farmers this time of year, they are busy, lots of grain on the roads. Iowa Big Muddy (Mississippi) from the IL side. Illinois More IL Hang in there Crud pics are next. |

The pics from Iowa are great, and of course the bike shots are cool.
Isn't that 2nd shot from "Here are a few for tonight" a Wankel (not sure that is spelled right) engine? BTW I'm originally from Iowa -- way up in the northeast corner -- a little town called Lansing right along the mighty Mississippi. Dang I miss that place; I was there in 2002 in July to visit family and friends -- K enough of the thread hijack -- in wait for more pics of your fabulous trip

Re: Slimey Crud Run
Ack! Saw that title of this thread and thought, no, can't be.
Of course, we know all about the Slimey Crud's having been made quite famous by Peter's rambling accounts of their occasional adventures! So where's the pics of Peter? I think it'd be quite an honor to meet him! I got to meet Clement Salvadori a short while back and was in awe. Great pics, more please. If you know anything about this site, might know I'm originally from Wisconsin, use to live in Madison back in college, ironically not far from where Peter Eagan now lives.

Re: Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang Run - Wisconsin
As promised, more crud pics. I will refrain from identifying the bikes as I'm sure most everyone knows what they are or will ask and discuss anyway. I wish i didn't have to resize/crop the photos to get them posted it is not doing them justice. maybe someone has some pointers or tips and I will repost some of the nicer ones.
ok, smoke break. |

Some sloppy panoramics and some more bikes that almost slipped by. the first pan is Leland and the second is Pine Bluff.
