Take it from experience....go for the side car, easier on the nerves and the sheet metal then letting the teens drive and have to watch.
Nothing like working night shift and having the son call at 0200 and ask where the Ding King is. Seems his buddy was driving the new family van and had a minor roll incident....no body hurt they were only doing about 1 mph on a steep angle and the van went on its side...thought they might be able to take out the wrinkle and his parents would be non the wiser.
What you have to look forward too.

Yeah...I dented my dad's truck turning too sharply...hit a small half wall...totally pushed in the passenger side door...
Then I almost rolled a family friend's van in a situation similar to that of your son's friend...
Fun stuff...
And you're probably right, I'd be too much a bundle of nerves to ride well worrying about her driving our vehicle!

And I better not get a call on the night shift!! I dispatch ambulances!!!

Awesome shots Tim - Great Magazine cover! How did the Busa like those goat trails? My wing would have reminded me quickly and firmly that it much prefers solid roadway to ride upon. Your posts serve as great lessons on how to put a photo story together.

Tim great as usual, when did you do this ride it looks to green to have been recent. I think you need to take Joe/Com3 with you for all that Dual Sport riding

As usual, awesome pics Tim. I want to ride out there so bad. The problem is Solvang is a nice romantic location and I want to take the wife, but there is no way in hell that she would ride on the back of a sportbike. What's a rider to do.
