Tassajara Rd
Nice, thanks Tim
Here's a repost of a great dirt ride on Tassajara Rd, off shoot from Carmel Valley Rd at Jamestown. Thought it might kindle some interest with the MotoGP coming to Laguna Seca during July. http://www.pashnitforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=247 I'm already thinking of my first fresh post. Planning on the summit of Nacimento-Fergusson Rd and making the right down S.Coast Ridge to Plaskett Ridge Rd to Hwy 1. Should be fun.

Re: Tassajara Rd
Tom, that was very cool! Those roads were what our bikes were made for...drool. Yours could handle much rougher than mine. What is the wet weight on the 650GS?

Re: Tassajara Rd
My unladen weight with full tank is 426 lbs (193kg) . Fuel tank holds 4.57 gal (17.3 lit). My range is about 280 miles per tank cruising speed, 220 when commuting around town. Let me know if you'd like to team for an off-road.

Re: Tassajara Rd
Thanks for the invite and it is returned. Where is Pacific Grove anyway?
The soon to be released HP2 will weigh in at only 4 more pounds than your bike! Wonder what that will do to the sales of the F series bikes? Me want, me want bad! |

Re: Tassajara Rd
Pacific Grove is tucked between Monterey and Pebble Beach here in central CA. We kind of stick out on the peninsula at the south end of Monterey Bay.
Nice trail head to many rides south, east, and north.

Re: Tassajara Rd
Cool bike. Now this BMW HP2 ride looks pure enduro and kick ass. Can't wait to see and demo one.
