Inspired by Tim's scouting trip though Santa Barbara county, a bunch of bay area riders made a 2-day trek down to Solvang and back. We avoided 101 as much as possible, tore up as many ranch roads, farm roads, back roads, and goat trails as we could find between point A and point B. Never saw a LEO, nearly impaled half a dozen squirrels, crows, quails, wildcat, and deer. Never did make it inside the moto museum, but we had a lot of fun just getting there and back.

Looking at the map, you had a great ride indeed! Now do it again but this time be sure and visit the museum! If it's closed, call the number. Most of the time they are happy to come down and open it for you.

I need to visit Rossi's Driveway again soon!

I want one. Nice pic's, nice route! When we left Laguna Moto GP eariler this year, we took River Road south from the track into Greenfield. We then hit that same portion of your route into Paso Robles, really brought out the memories. Foxen Canyon...one of my personal favorites!
