Hi, I'm Mark and I'm a bikeaholic.

Everyone say "HI Mark".

Now a message to lurkers here. Jump on into the site and post up on any group ride. It matters little how experienced you are, you will find us a friendly and helpful group. Your enjoyment of riding will increase as you meet more like minded riders and find new roads with them.

As to posting, all I can say is I'm VERY glad my first posts (on other sites) are not available for easy view. Everybody here, who seems so polished and adept at this, began just like you. I am a knuckle dragging cave dweller and dedicated technotard. If I can learn to post...so can you. Jump on in, the water's fine.

Welcome and what a nice looking ride! Congrats on the miles and road time. That's a lot for just getting started. Now remember we like photos here too. So get that camera and start sharing!

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2

Hi everyone. Another new guy here. I am 22. Was told about this site back in July when I took my MSF course. I live in Lemoore, CA, but am hoping to move to San Diego sometime in the near future. Just got my bike in July. An 05' Honda 919. When I got it it had been 7 years since I have riden. Glad to be back on two wheels.

I am also on wristtwisters.com under the same name. Haven't had the chance to look around here that much (from the little bit I have, great pictures). I'm looking forward to hopefully riding with you guys in the future.

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2

ok it would of helped if I didn't start reading this thread from the bottom up...DUH.. HI all I am Sharrill and I am a new addicted rider and yes I believe I should be put in a 12 step program for new riders....hehehe 1st step, don't pick up riding in the fall right before the first ice over on the roads, cuz then you have to put the bike in the garage for a three LONG months and just look at the bike......

Anyone know what is good for the withdrawl syptoms you get from not riding??? I tryed to just sit on the bike, no good???? and I know I am not experienced enough to go out in the bad weather and ride(gotta know your limitaions to be safe).....

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2

Hi all,

New to this forum, but not new to riding. Have been an active rider
for about 45 years or so, the present bike being a Honda ST1300. Picked that
one up brand new in May of 04 and have a bit over 37k miles so far..
Last bike was a Honda CX 500 , retired that one with a bit over
200k miles on the clock. I have a tendancy to ride the ever-lovin' life
out of a bike

Ride safe..

Putt...

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2

Hi all!
I've been riding for a long time, first bike was a Honda 50 scrambler, bought for $25 in 1968, with mini bikes before that.
I now ride a Beemer, thus my avitar! I live in Anderson Valley, between Navarro and Comptche, just 2 miles off Hwy 128 in the redwoods. Great roads, BTW. See you on the road!
