Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hello everyone,
I joined today and I hope to be an asset to the community. Don't live in the west I'm in Arkansas, however some very fine riding in this part of the world. I ride a Bandit which I just purchased last year, but I've been on two wheels for 50 some odd years. Like said I'm glad to be a part of this community. Best Regards to all, netcats |

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hello,
My name is Erik and I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I live in WI with 5 cats, 3 bikes and a very understanding girlfriend. I plan on at least 2 motorcycle trips this year. A spring trip to Arkansas, a summer trip to the Black Hills with a side trip through Utah and Nevada. My current motorcycles are an '09 Zx-14, an '06 FJR, and an '01 Super Sherpa.

Hi there,
I am a Canadian who has been living in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the last 15 years and still not happy with the summer temperatures! I ride a 2005 Honda Goldwing, soon to upgrade to the 2010, or if I like it, the new 2011 Goldwing. Sequoia National Park and the Pacific Coast Highway are my favorite places in California but I have been all over the Southwest looking for good roads (twisties) Ken. |

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hi People,
Sorry it's taken me so long for my first post, I guess it's because I didn't feel I had anything to say but this site intro keeps encouraging me to do so so here goes. (Point in fact I can't even recall when I signed on with Pashnit but it's been awhile.) I live in Bandon, OR which is a ways north of northern CA but probably close enough to share info. I've ridden Highway 1 several times on various bikes, most recently being last year (2009) on my '00 Aprilia Pegaso outfitted with a Russian Sputinik sidecar. Very weird I know but a guy's gotta do what he has to do. I've also done the same ride on my Kawi 650R and will probably do it on others as it's one of my favorite rides.Aside from the hack outfit I get out to places like Alaska and Nova Scotia on the Kawi when the weather is nicer. There's an '07 Ducati ST3s currently tucked away in the barn waiting to be used for something other than taking up garage space and to make things even stranger I recently aquired a Piaggio MP3 500 scooter. A sane person might wonder why anyone would indulge in a scooter ride when there's a duc in the barn and I sometimes wonder the same thing myself. I'll find out more about that when I head south towards the Tucson area in May. When I'm finished with that I expect to ride the hack to Inuvik, NWT. That in itself will be a trip, eh? That's about as much info as I can muster up in the way of an introduction, anything else will have to be in response to mutual interests. I don't spend as much time on Pashnit as I'd like but I'll try to be more attentive. Best to all, LL75 ![]() PS - Did I mention I'll be seventy freaking years old this coming July? No?

Greetings
Live in Columbus, OH and I think we are FINALLY rid of the snow and it is starting to warm up! Daylight savings time kicking in this past weekend also puts some light at the end of the tunnel. Main bike is 2003 K1200RS and I try to get in at least 12,000-15,000 miles a year if business issues will let me do it. I know, priorities in wrong place! With any luck will pick up new, to me, 2007 KLR 650 this weekend. Spent some time on gravel and fire roads last year with K1200 and thought it might be more fun to try it with something more specifically designed for the task. Looking forward to connecting with fellow riders in this forum.
All the best, John |
