Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hello riders my name is michael and I am new to your site I have been riding for about 2 years now I bought a used 2005 250 ninja with 80 miles on it for $1500. Best purchase of my life now I have over 10,000 miles on it and can't wait for 10,000 more unless I upgrade before that but we'll see.

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hi,my name's Brad and I'm addicted to motorcycling!! I've been riding FLH models for 30 years, and recently became a Buell xb addict as well!
I'm married with 2 kids and survive by operating a building and remodeling business. I'm in N.H., so the bikes are put away(salty roads), but there's always snowmobiling to keep the blood flowing! |

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hello - I bought a new 2011 'Busa back in April and absolutely love it! This is the bike I've been looking for. (I traded my customized 2006 M109 Suzuki for it). Anyway I joined so I can hear (read) what others have to say about their bikes.

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hello My name is Chuck and I ride a 2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra glide. I live in Sedalia, Mo and try and take one long road trip every summer. I have been riding since I was 19 and I will soon be 57. I love looking at all the Pashnit pictures seeing the beautiful country. I have never ridden out to California but hope to some day.

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
This is a re-introduction - I'm back in the saddle after being bikeless for 2.5 years or so. In that time I've moved 3 times (Santa Rosa to Lake Tahoe, Tahoe to Reno and Reno to . . . Clinton Arkansas?????) and burned through 2 relationships before striking gold on the third one. I figured that it's time to try living somewhere besides NoCal, and the Ozarks are a pretty good place to try it out. I love it out here in the country! And the roads are twisty, mostly smooth, and VERY lightly traveled. The fun bits start at the end of my driveway, before the bike is even warmed up.
Oh, yeah, the bike is a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 650R, black with red accents. The previous owner did all kinds of upgrades, including PC3, Muzzy full exhaust (LOUD! Too loud!), tail cleanup, LED integrated taillight and turn signals, solo seat cowl, red frame sliders, and taller windscreen. Not much left for me to do to it, so I just ordered the Galfer stainless brake lines from Tim (red, of course!). Got the bike with less than 8500 miles on it about a month ago, and I've put about 500 on since. Not sure how much riding I'll do this week; I either need a taller and wider windshield or an electric vest (it's supposed to be in the 20's and 30's all week). It's not the newest, fastest, or most comfortable bike, but plenty fast enough for me and fast enough to keep up with most youngsters on 600 cc repliracers. Plus, I don't have to assume the position every time I ride to the post office. I'm still learning the roads around here, but I can already find some good ones. If any of you make it to the Ozarks, I would love to ride with you. And I can't wait to ride my new steed on another Pashnit tour. Michael Lloyd Clinton, AR |

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Good Morning,
I am a writer, except when I get really really hungry then I drive a truck. I write a monthly column for Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly and have been with them for eleven years. Prior to that I wrote for Southern Road Rider, Touring News, and Cruzin' magazine and have been writing about motorcycling since 1993 I live in Memphis Tennessee and being from the south my present column was dubbed "The Redneck Files" by those Yankee's up in Minnesota...If you're interested log on to http://www.motorbyte.com/ then click on The Redneck Files, archives or current issue. I'm also an active and avid motorcyclist and received my motorcycle endorsement back in the day. 1964 to be specific. My present ride is a '05 GL1800A, my third Gold Wing. Prior to that I rode Harley-Davidson's, seven of them plus one Allstate (re-badged Puch) and I cut my teeth on a 1939 Harley 45 ci side valve also referred to as 45's.. I'm 68 years old and my best riding buddy is my better half whom I have been married to for 50 years...And yep, she's still the one. That's about it. This looks like a great place to hang out and I am looking forward to meeting and reading this bunch....Thanks for letting me eaves drop and hang out.. bj Max Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly bjmaxonline.com |
