Motorcycle Roadside Assistance?
I just did the 100,00 mile service on my R1100RT and, although she seems in fine shape, she did once leave me stranded with a blown final. We are getting ready to go on a long road trip now and I just checked with my motorcycle insurance company about roadside assistance and they offer nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions about where one might be able to get some kind of roadside insurance seperately. I'm not worried about the little stuff I just don't want to get stuck with another bill for 2 grand to get my bike home from the boonies. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Cameron |

Triple - A may offer something if you're a member, but I haven't used it myself. Honda covers me on that, and I've had them take my bike to the dealer when I got a flat.

Re: Motorcycle Roadside Assistance?
My version of roadside assistance is a good tool kit and the 1-800-number to U-haul (1-800-GO-U-HAUL (1-800-468-4285)). Doesn't cost me a dime unless I have to rent a U-Haul. An all-day U-Haul truck rental costs $20 and up... a lot cheaper than most roadside assistance programs.
