Curvy Road Rudland rigg about 10k ride

Well hello there , here in good old blighty there is a shortage of places to go on an enduro bike,
this is a place called rudland rigg down in north yorkshire ,
me and my mate road down from where we live in durham , and went blasting across this , as you can see some rough ground to cover, its about 10k long over the moors from ingleby to kirbymoorside , a bit of a struggle to get on the tops of the moors then its stand up and nail it for a good blast , lots of them ramblers along the trail watch out , you can see for miles and plenty time to slow down , lots of jumps along the track , , there a few round yarm area to go off road , but next to nothing in durham , hence the police who have me in an arm lock ,, only photo shoot,, but they still gave me a notice saying i must by law not ride on land that i dont have permission to use, they give all of us this and it lasts for twelve months , its over now copper he he , so hence i still have the 250 for enduro i went out and bought an xr4oor and supermoto wheels mint bike never been off road , i will post some photos later, supermoto is fun fun fun , you should try it out ,,

thanks again for reading my piffle,
Andy

the road up the hill sure looks old. A long time ago I read an advertisement for an enduro tour of the old roads in England that aren't used anymore. They called them Roman roads, but I'm not sure if that was entirely accurate. Have you found anything like that?

Great pics Andy! This one looks especially fun, don't think my Hayabusa would like me very much one a road like this though.

Hi Tim , yes mate thats one of the hard bits , the steps are bigger in real life , and shoot up at a very sharp angle when your stalling your bike half way up, then got to kick it over and go for it , funny day this was , mind you the bike takes some hammer along rudland ,
Cheers Andy
